Cognigine Secures $14.5 Million In Second-Round Financing For Delivering OC-192 Optical Systems Processors
FREMONT, Calif., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Cognigine Corporation, a developer of next generation configurable communication platforms today announced that it has closed its second round of financing, securing $14.5 million and is gearing up to deliver Optical Systems Processors capable of handling OC-192 and scaling to OC-768 wire speeds, thus providing system designers with a single chip high bandwidth solution.
Lucent Venture Partners led the financing, which included investments from Wasserstein Adelson Ventures, VantagePoint Venture Partners, and Stanford University. Additional participation came from first-round investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Wasatch Venture Fund.
