CRM Leaders Combine to Offer Powerful Resource Management Solutions
TUESDAY MAY 2, 2000 BASKING RIDGE, N.J. and SUNNYVALE, CA - Blue Pumpkin Software and the new Enterprise Networks Group being spun off from Lucent Technologies today announced a strategic alliance to provide solutions that help companies successfully manage human resources in multi-channel customer contact centers.
Lucent's Enterprise Networks Group will resell Blue Pumpkin Software's workforce management software, incorporating it as part of Lucent's suite of CRM Solutions. Blue Pumpkin Software workforce management products are designed to optimize the forecasting and scheduling of agents in contact centers by ensuring the right agent skills are available at the right time, and the products currently integrate with the Enterprise Networks Group's CRM solutions.
Additionally, the companies will embed Blue Pumpkin Software's award-winning workforce management software into the Enterprise Networks Group's CRM Solutions products for easy and seamless implementation. The Enterprise Networks Group's CRM Solutions include industry-leading information routing and workflow capabilities with products such as CentreVu® Advocate, CRM Central 2000® and CentreVu Internet Solutions. The capabilities of Blue Pumpkin Software Solutions - including their ability to handle multiple channels of customer contacts - are ideal complements to the Enterprise Networks Group's CRM Solutions for creating workforce management applications.
The Enterprise Networks Group will begin reselling Blue Pumpkin Software's workforce management products in the third quarter of 2000. The companies' combined solutions will be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2000.
