Peter Rokkos is Vice President and Counsel of Lucent Venture Partners and currently serves as a Board Member or Observer for a number of LVP's portfolio companies. As part of the LVP team since its inception, Peter has been responsible for the formation and operation of the investments funds and has participated in each of LVP's investments, in excess of 50 to date. Previously, as Corporate Counsel, Mergers and Acquisitions at Lucent Technologies, Peter led a number of strategic transactions including its acquisitions of Nexabit Networks, Herrmann Technology, Xedia, Enable Semiconductors, VTC and Sybarus Systems; the separation and initial public offering of Agere Systems; the divestiture of Lucent's Optical Fiber Solutions business and a number of strategic minority equity investments by Lucent. Peter had previously been an associate in the New York office of Skadden Arps in their Mergers and Acquisitions group.
